TYPE LOCALITY:
upper Abyad (= White Nile) and Gazelle River (= Bahr al Ghazal), and lower Bahr al Jebel (= White Nile). Type, in Naturhistorisches Museum, Vienna, from upper White Nile ca. lat. 7°-9° N., fide Lynes, 1930, Ibis, Cisticola Suppl., p. 645.
